Hainanese Kitchen
Our fathers are migrants from 海南岛; 文昌, 琼海. At that time, they had nothing but the basic knowledge of cooking Hainanese Chicken Rice. After decades of sacrifice and hard work, we are able to serve one of Singapore's local favourites: The Hainanese Chicken Rice -- which is perfected over 70 years.
Our journey began as an open-food stall 大排档 in Middle Road selling simple Hainanese dishes. Back in the days, people used to call us 中秋园, where people of all walks of life gather at this area for our comfort food after visiting the nearby Shaw Theatre and New World 新世界.
We're always looking for ways to improve. And we always want to give our customers the best experience possible. So, when one of them suggested we sell our food in charcoal-based steamboats, we were all ears. The result? The Hainanese steamboat 十金火锅 and Beef Steamboat 牛肉火锅 were born.

Our vision at Golden Mile Thien Kee is to be the leading and well-loved restaurant in Singapore that specializes in traditional Hainanese chicken rice and steamboat. We aim to offer our customers a culinary experience that embodies unique Hainanese flavors, quality ingredients and excellent service.
Mission
Our mission is to preserve and offer our customers the time-honored traditional flavors unique to our Hainanese cuisine, while also fostering a warm and welcoming ambient to help create memories for generation after generation.
